The 4x4R offers four inputs, each switchable between a mic and line. Each of four input sections offers a six LED meter, 48V phantom switch, 66 dB of mic gain and a Listen function to monitor any of the four input sections through the front panel headphone amp.
In addition, each input section can be linked to the adjacent input section offering four different input to output options: 4x4, 3x12 +1x4, 2x8 or 1x16. Optional transformer isolation is available.
Like the KickBox 4x4, the 4X4R is a Mic/Line splitter/ distribution system. It has 4 high grade microphone/ line inputs on the rear, as well as 3 outputs per channel on the rear and 1 additional output on the front. The key to its versatility is the "link" function, which allows you 4 input with 4 outputs per channel, 2 inputs with 8 outputs per channel, 1 input with 16 outputs or 1 in with 4 out plus1 in with 12 out. In addition, the 4X4R has a headphone amp for monitoring any of the 4 inputs, and +48v phantom power on each input.
