How Can I get my external Microphone to work with Sonar LE?

I Just bought a Audio technica AT2041SP Studio pack and it came with The sonar LE software. I already have a M-Audio Fast track USB audio interface and the mic cord but when I set it up I cannot get my mic to work in Sonar. The interface is working as I have it plugged into my speakers and the power light is on. How Can I get it to let me use the microphone that it came with?

    Might be  lame answer but, do you have the phantom power turned on?

    All condenser mics need phantom power to work.
