Think less about power requirements for this mic (they'll all do - it has an external power supply), and more about what preamp will best compliment the sound of the mic. As the Mojave MA 200 is a Tube Condenser, perhaps consider a solid state pre that won't introduce any more color to the signal chain. Or, if you're looking to add more tone / color, think about what it is you're trying to add. That should give you a better line on where to begin your search.

    • Good call on the solid state preamp idea.

Without knowing what you want to record, I would suggest that you get yourself a quality channel strip to pair with the microphone. (No sense in letting such a fine mic get wasted with a sub-par preamp)

    I would consider the following:

Excellent channel strips to pair with an awesome mic.

    • I like the way you think Justin!!!
