Trying to daisy chain audio interfaces

I am trying to link a tascam us 144 mkII to a M-Audio fast track ultra through the s/pdif and I cant get it to work. Any Ideas?

    Go into your m audio control panel and select external sync...Make sure its set to spdif and not optical.....LogicLover@twitter

    • Are you talking about the clock setting? I have that set on external, but I cant find a setting for spdif or optical

    • I think they are talking about some sort of external sync setting. You should be able to select between the usual SPDIF RCA connector, or the optical (toslink) connector. You can't sync to both at the same time so you much choose.
