What do you need to know about rap??
I just got the fruity loops program, im a beginner with this system, not very good at making beats, i can always only get the drum patern going and thats it, I need to know how to make a original beats for me to spit on, but then again, i dont even know if i can spit, tried writing a few things but im not very good at it, Im very new to this although i love rap music, its been in my life, my whole life..I just have this urge to want to rap...
I suggest listening to lots of the kind of music you really like to make and pay attention to detail. That should point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.
You need to just start playing around with things to see what you're into.
There are tons of FLStudio tutorials on youtube.com you can try out as well.
You may want to head over to meetup.com and see if there are any beat making or pusic production groups you can go to and talk with others that know more about it than you do.
